Global Standards Adaptation & Compliance Delivery

Supported by an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, we can adapt pole design, manufacturing quality control, corrosion protection, and technical documentation to project-specific standards and local requirements, supporting overseas project approval, procurement, and acceptance.

Structural Design & Wind Load Verification: Structural calculations can be performed in accordance with EN 40 / EN 1993, AASHTO, applicable AS/NZS standards, SASO requirements, or other project-specified codes. Design verification can incorporate site wind speed, equipment loads, mounting height, and environmental conditions.

Welding & Manufacturing Control: Welding procedures and quality control can be adapted to applicable EN 1090 execution requirements and ISO 3834 welding quality requirements, with corresponding process, inspection, and documentation controls implemented as required by the project.

Corrosion Protection: Hot-dip galvanizing and coating systems can be configured according to the project environment and required service life. Treatments can be specified to ISO 1461, ASTM A123/A123M, or other project requirements for standard outdoor, coastal, high-humidity, and high-salinity environments.

Engineering Documentation Support: Project documentation can include structural calculation reports, shop drawings, material certificates, welding records, galvanizing or coating inspection reports, dimensional inspection records, and factory quality documentation for client, consultant, or EPC review.

Multi-Market Project Support: We support project requirements across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Applicable design standards, inspection requirements, and document packages can be defined according to the project location and technical specification.

Core Advantages

1. Proven Corrosion Protection

  • Dual-Layer Defense: Hot-dip galvanizing (≥85μm) provides active cathodic protection, while the powder coating acts as a durable physical barrier.

  • Tested Durability: Withstands over 1,000 hours of neutral salt spray testing, making it ideal for C3/C4 environments (inland cities, suburbs, and general industrial zones).

  • Cost-Effective Longevity: Delivers reliable rust prevention for standard outdoor scenarios without the capital expenditure of marine-grade stainless steel.

2. Rigorous Structural Integrity

  • Reliable Yield Strength: Yield strength ≥235 MPa for Q235B and ≥355 MPa for Q355B, fully satisfying standard structural load requirements.

  • Verified Weld Quality: 100% Ultrasonic Testing (UT) performed to detect and prevent structural defects in weld joints.

3. Cost-Optimized Value

  • Value Engineering: Optimized material thickness matched to standard conditions—eliminating over-engineering and wasted budget.

  • Rapid Turnaround: Standardized height series enable streamlined production to keep your project timeline on track.

  • Logistics Efficiency: Optimized nesting and bundling maximize container space, lowering per-unit freight costs.

Universal Camera Compatibility

Our poles feature pre-drilled interfaces and universal brackets, ensuring seamless mechanical and electrical integration with mainstream global brands:

  • Cameras: Bullet Cameras, Standard PTZ Cameras, Infrared Domes

  • Sensors: Environmental Monitors, Traffic Flow Detectors

  • Enclosures: Standard Security Power Boxes, Compact Battery Cabinets

  • Proven Project Deployments

Trusted by system integrators worldwide for standard infrastructure rollouts:

    • Urban Road Surveillance Retrofit: 6 m Standard Poles, 500+ Units, City Center

    • Industrial Park Security System: 8 m Standard Poles, 120 Units, Suburban Zone

    • Residential Smart Community: 4 m Standard Poles, 300+ Units, Gated Community

    Installation Reminders

    • Galvanic Corrosion Prevention: Match fastener materials to the pole surface. Avoid direct contact between dissimilar metals; use isolating gaskets when stainless-steel hardware meets hot-dip-galvanized surfaces.

    • Drainage & Sealing: Keep base drainage holes unobstructed and ensure handhole covers remain tightly sealed. Do not bury the flange plate below ground level.

    • Coating Integrity: Protect powder-coated finishes from mechanical impact during handling. Apply touch-up paint promptly to any scratched or chipped areas.

    • Electrical Grounding: Complete proper grounding and equipotential bonding in compliance with local electrical codes.

    • Foundation Compliance: Anchor bolts and concrete foundations must be engineered to local wind-load requirements. Erect poles only after concrete reaches full curing strength.

    FAQ

    1. Can your steel surveillance poles accommodate our cameras and other equipment?

Yes. Mounting brackets and interfaces can be designed to suit your equipment. Please provide equipment models or mounting drawings, quantities, weights, dimensions, and mounting positions.

Include any lighting, communications, or other devices in the equipment list so we can assess the combined loads, wind area, and mounting space.

    2. How are pole height, diameter and wall thickness determined? Is equipment weight enough for selection?

Equipment weight is only one design input. Pole height, equipment wind area, outreach length, mounting positions, and site wind conditions also affect the required configuration.

Equipment with the same weight may require different pole designs depending on its wind area and position. Send your existing drawings for review, or share your equipment and site details for preliminary selection.

    3. How do you address image stability for long-range or PTZ cameras?

Alongside structural capacity, these installations may require assessment of pole-top displacement, rotation and dynamic response under wind loading.

Please provide any stability criteria specified by the camera supplier or project consultant. We can assess these requirements within the agreed design scope and confirm the relevant load conditions and limits.

    4. Are galvanized steel surveillance poles suitable for coastal or industrial sites?

They can be considered following a review of the site environment. Salt deposition, humidity, industrial pollutants and maintenance access help determine whether hot-dip galvanizing alone or an additional coating system is appropriate.

For more aggressive environments or sites with restricted maintenance access, stainless steel and other options can also be evaluated against initial and maintenance costs.

    5. What galvanizing thickness do you provide? Can it be inspected to ISO 1461?

Hot-dip galvanizing can be specified and inspected to ISO 1461 or other agreed project requirements. Applicable coating thickness and acceptance criteria depend on steel thickness, component type, and the specified standard.

Please state any required coating thickness, measurement method, or inspection documentation at the quotation stage so these can be reviewed and included in the agreed technical requirements.

    6. Can the pole allow for additional equipment in the future?

Yes. Future equipment can be considered during design, with suitable mounting interfaces and capacity allowances. Please provide the anticipated equipment weight, wind area, and mounting positions.

Any later additions should be checked against the original design conditions, particularly where they involve new outreach arms, larger wind areas, or changes in mounting height.

    Important Notice

Specifications are typical values for reference only under standard conditions — not a guarantee. Final performance shall be determined by project design calculations and factory test reports. Consult a local engineer before specifying.
